Shiiine On Weekender announce 2021 line-up, including Feeder, Cast, The Bluetones, Peter Hook and The Light, 808 State and many more…

It’s that time again, and this isn’t just about an awesome music festival but also it has the unerring edges of hope, which is the outstanding news from Shiiine On Weekender, who’ve got their superb 2021 line-up for us and you can get your tickets NOW!

Of course, this huge gathering has staked its place as a stalwart of the UK’s Winter festival scene, and this is the sixth instalment of the Shiiine On Weekender, which runs across 12th, 13th and 14th November 2021 and boasts an unbeatable crop of indie and dance, as always!

Taking over Butlin’s Minehead Arena for a long-weekend escape of music and mayhem, the fest will be hosting a trio of legendary headline acts of the highest order! Kicking off Friday night is headliners Feeder, which will see Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose blasting through over 20 years of hits, from ‘Buck Rogers’ to ‘Just A Day’ and airing cuts from their revitalised comeback LP of 2019: ‘Tallulah’.

Also, and this is another huge one which marks the 25th anniversary of their seminal ‘All Change’ album, Saturday night sees Cast top the bill with their electrifying live show to remind us just why they were crowned ‘The Who of the 90s’; expect a healthy dose of classics in a confirmed Greatest Hits set too for sure. Closing on Sunday night is the superb Peter Hook & The Light, who are set to bring more than a brimful of Joy Division and New Order’s finest moments.

Aah! All so good. Obviously that’s just the mainstage and over the weekend, you’ve also got the legendary Britpop, indie powerhouses The Bluetones who’ll bring their greatest hits and never, ever fail to put on a show. Shiiine On Weekender also features The Coral, none-other-than Shaun Ryder’s Black Grape, Glasvegas, an exclusive Festival set from Sice Boo and The Radleys, which sees Sice back together with the Boo Radley’s rhythm kings Tim Brown and Rob Cieka.

Let us continue? Of course! You’ve also got Chris Helme (from The Seahorses), EMF’s James Arkin, Republica, Bentley Rhythm Ace, The Space Monkeys, and The Clone Roses. And, those indie icons to show all of us how it’s really, really done in the shape of Chameleons, Ned’s Acoustic Dustbin, Jim Bob (of Carter USM), The Milltown Brothers and the James Taylor Quartet.

Obviously Steve Lamacq will be hovering around, and putting on a DJ Set no doubt, plus if you’re partying into the night – can I make it to 4am? – there’s also Acid House innovators 808 State, Neville Staple Band and Asian Dub Foundation. And that’s just a select few, in truth, there’s a beyond huge line-up, see the poster, book your tickets here and find out even more on their website!
