If you haven’t seen the film Blindspotting yet, I highly recommend it (full review here), as it’s relevant and super smart and this series that’s coming to Starzplay UK from 13 June looks superb!
Blindspotting, the series, picks up six months after the film and centres on Ashley (Jasmine Cephas Jones), who is nipping at the heels of a middle-class life in Oakland until Miles (Rafael Casal), her partner of 12 years and father of their son, is suddenly incarcerated, leaving her to navigate a chaotic existential crisis when she is forced to move in with Miles’ mother and half-sister…
Created and exec produced by Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs, who both also starred in the film in addition to writing and producing it, the series also stars Benjamin Turner as Earl, Candace Nicholas-Lippman as Janelle, Jaylen Barron as Trish, Atticus Woodward as Sean, and Helen Hunt as Rainey – Watch the class trailer now:
The new STARZ original series will premiere worldwide on Sunday, 13 June on STARZPLAY across its complete footprint in Europe, Latin America and Japan, as well as in the U.S. and Canada on all STARZ platforms.
