I’m a big fan of the Radio Silence team, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and their reboot/homage of Scream that came out only at the start of this year, reviewed here, was very much a welcome addition to the saga – and we’re not done yet because their next ‘phase’ hits cinemas in March 2023!
Yes, and this must have been in the mind when they were making the last film, because Scream 6 (or Scream VI / ScreaVI) takes Ghostface to the big city and survivors Sam and Tara Carpenter (Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega respectively), are seemingly so far away from Woodsboro that nothing could surely happen there, well…. what do you think?

This is exactly what the franchise needed. Jason In Manhattan be damned. Ghost Face needed to get out of Woodsboro to have any rope left. The possibilities now are endless, as they should be in any horror franchise over three movies long. Scream Vs Godzilla next?
