The mighty Disney+ have revealed the premiere date for the highly anticipated new drama series Dopesick starring Michael Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Stuhlbarg, Will Poulter, Kaitlyn Dever and Rosario Dawson!

Inspired by Beth Macy‘s best-selling book, the 8-part original series will premiere exclusively on Disney+ Day (find out more about that here), Friday November 12, in the UK and Ireland. Dopesick is set to examines how one company triggered the worst drug epidemic in American history, as we’re taken to the epicenter of America’s struggle with opioid addiction, from the boardrooms of Big Pharma to a distressed Virginia mining community to the hallways of the DEA – and then an intense ride to try and take down the corporate forces behind the US crisis.

As well as that stellar cast, there’s also John Hoogenakker, Phillipa Soo and Jake McDorman. Dopesick is written by the Emmy-winner Danny Strong and directed by Oscar-winner Barry Levinson – We’ll be watching when it streams from 12 November!
