It’s only been a month or so since we shared the delightful trailer for The Duke, coming to UK cinemas 6 September, and now we’ve got this great Making Of featurette that delves into exactly that!

Starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren, and based on a true story, the film is set in 1961 and follows Kempton Bunton, a 60-year old taxi driver, who stole Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. Brilliantly, it was the first and, so far, only theft in their history….

Directed by BAFTA winner Roger Michell, with a screenplay by Richard Bean and Clive Coleman, The Duke comes to UK cinemas from 3rd September from Pathé, Ingenious Media and a Screen Yorkshire presentation of a Neon Films Production.
