BLUE JUSTICE! Sonic the Hedgehog 2 isn’t long away now, 1st April in fact, and he’s been making a proper superhero appearance in London – and check out the character posters here!!

Just below this update (today 13 Feb) is that big first trailer but we’re preceding it with the big game spot for Sonic The Hedgehog 2! Enjoy…

You may recall that when the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie arrived, something wasn’t quite right – it was the entire animation of Sonic, which is – you know – pretty important. Surprisingly, Paramount took this on their collective fluffy hair spikes and went back to work to sort out the mess, and it made all the difference! Whether this was an elaborate ploy, we’ll never know, but at least Sonic looked how he should and also the film was a lot of fun – see my review here!

Today, we get our first look at Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the film we never knew would come but it’s here, and quite epic!

Jeff Fowler returns as director, as does James Marsden, Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, and Jim Carrey returning, alongside new additions Shemar Moore, with Idris Elba as the voice of Knuckles, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey as the voice of Tails, here’s some stills…

After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 comes to UK cinemas from 1 April 2022!
