I really enjoyed Star Trek: Picard Season 1, it was wonderful not only to revisit Patrick Stewart‘s iconic Jean-Luc Picard, but it also reinvented (again!) what Star Trek can be, and especially the past and future of the unique Gene Roddenberry-created world – and I had the bonus of being at the European Premiere!
Today, I’m excited to share the official trailer for Star Trek: Picard Season 2 today, which launches exclusively on Prime Video on 4th March, in all regions aside from the US and Canada. After the Premiere on that Friday, a new episode of the 10-ep series, will air weekly!
Not only will S2 reunite Picard with Whoopi Goldberg’s beloved role as Guinan from Star Trek: The Next Generation, but also John de Lancie‘s Q makes an intriguing return. Season Two will take Jean-Luc and his crew into the past, and he’ll need to recruit friends old and new to take on the perils of 21st Century Earth to save the future, and all the while face Q and an ultimate trial….
Alongside Stewart, de Lancie and Goldberg, we’ll welcomingly see the return of Alison Pill, Jeri Ryan, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Orla Brady, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, plus Annie Wersching and Brent Spiner.
Star Trek: Picard streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and is distributed concurrently by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories. In Canada, it airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel and streams on Crave.
