Kim Hopkins’ A Bunch of Amateurs, from Republic Film Distribution, have confirmed their release date will be from 11 November in UK cinemas!
Following the members of Britain’s oldest amateur film club, the film won the Audience Award at this years’ Sheffield Doc Fest, the Bradford Movie Makers come together amid flickering memories and challenging final years. Clinging to their dreams, and to each other, fuelled by endless cups of tea, it’s a gently comedic, profoundly moving portrait of shared artistic folly speaks to the escapist dreamer in us all and to the enduring power of face-to-face time together, in an increasingly lonely, digital age.
