Decca Records ‘Bond 25’ features all 25 iconic themes freshly recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Decca Records presents Bond 25, a new orchestrated album featuring all 25 of the iconic films’ themes expertly reimagined and newly-recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – and, I promise, this is an amazing collection and what better time to pick it up than during the 60th Anniversary of the iconic 007!

While we’re deep in the celebrations of the James Bond cinematic franchise, this album, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, includes new arrangements of the title themes including Diamonds Are ForeverGoldenEye and Skyfall, track-listed chronologically from 1962’s Dr. No, to 2020’s UK No.1 single No Time To Die. As well as those, the iconic Bond theme from the 1962 film Dr. No, performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, was also released as a single last week – but you can pick up the album on CD or Vinyl by clicking here!

Bond 25 follows the recent success of Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for the 25th James Bond film No Time To Die, check out my review here, and it became the UK’s highest-charting soundtrack from the 007 franchise to date, peaking at No.7 in the Official UK Album Charts, complete with Billie Eilish’s huge title track.

As ever James Bond Day is 5th October, so enjoy the moment, pick up this stellar collection and get some films on the big/small screen at home!
