It’s not everyday we see an original project coming out in the mainstream and so Edgar Wright‘s Baby Driver is a very intriguing project indeed and if this epic, action-packed first trailer is anything to go by… he could be onto another winner.

We last saw Wright behind the camera four years (!) ago with the conclusion to the glorious Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy and although there was also that Ant-Man blip, it’s been long overdue to have him back among the scene and he’s writing and directing, a win-win surely. So what is Baby Driver about? Well:

After being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), a young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.

Car chases a plenty and no doubt a soundtrack to die for, plus Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Jon Bernthal and Jon Hamm, watch the trailer below:
