I recall watching the first trailer for Wonder Woman last year and although excited to see what they had planned, I didn’t feel it much but, thankfully, all is not lost as this new ‘origin’ trailer really sets us up a lot more vibrantly, interestingly and as they move through the origins of Wonder Woman and towards the legend she deserves to be seen as.
Starring Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, this trailer gives us a ‘Man of Steel‘ sense of back story which means DC really are trying to give their universe a little more gravitas, which is important for those who don’t know her life. We also get to see a slight realisation of power and I’m excited to see where director Patty Jenkins takes us.
Wonder Woman also stars Robin Wright as Antiope, Connie Nielsen as her mother Hippolyt and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. Watch below, let me know what you think!
