Smart UK poster for Gareth Tunley’s indie mind-twister ‘The Ghoul’

The Ghoul is the upcoming debut feature of Gareth Tunley and it’s a mighty fine psychological thriller that I originally saw (4-star review here) at the London Film Festival last year.

Ben Wheatley, director of Sightseers, High Rise and Free Fire is on-board an as executive producer and The Ghoul stars Tom Meeten as Chris, a homicide detective who goes undercover as a therapy patient to investigate someone he believes is linked to a very unusual murder.

With co-starring roles for Alice Lowe, Geoffrey McGivern, Rufus Jones, Niamh Cusack, and Paul Kaye, this really unique British thriller begins to question the reality that Chris exists within, and leaves you pondering over what’s happening… in a deeply compelling manner.

There’s a new trailer due soon but in the meantime, check out the fabulous poster below:

The Ghoul opens in UK cinemas on 4 August.
