Today, we’ve got a new clip from the upcoming Anon from director Andrew Niccol, who’ll you know best for his impressive work with Gattaca and The Truman Show. From what we’ve seen so far, Niccol isn’t stepping away from his ongoing intrigue regarding the fine-line between technology and humanity.
Opening in UK and Irish cinemas on 11 May, it’ll also be streaming on the same day into your home if you’ve got Sky Movies, a move that’s becoming more and more regular.
In this new snippet, Sal (Clive Owen) recalls his encounter with ‘The Girl’ (Amanda Seyfried) to Detective Charles Gattis (Colm Feore), and they discuss how she has managed to remain anonymous in The Ether and the difficulties of finding her….

In a modern world where advanced biosyn implants mean everyone is subjected to a relentless visual stream of information they call the ‘Mind’s Eye’, privacy and anonymity as we know it has vanished.
