In what’s becoming an awesome mainstay in the Exeter summer ‘must-do’s!’, we’re very pleased to help share the news that Big Screen in the Park returns to Northernhay Gardens from 1st – 10th August with six feature films, plus bars, picnics, street food and plenty of on-site entertainment for every audience.
Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to enjoy the magic of the movies on a huge 10-metre screen, with the stunning illuminated backdrop of our beautiful Cathedral city and this year, Exeter Phoenix really do have it all – mythical monsters, beauty pageants, dinosaurs, rock stars, adventure …aaand The Time Warp.
The festival will open with a spectacular outdoor screening of a true family classic, and personal favourite, Jurassic Park!
Following that beauty is newer releases that include the wonderful A Star Is Born plus Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, there’s also the excellent Little Miss Sunshine and Guillermo del Toro‘s cult classic Pan’s Labyrinth. Finally, and this is because it’s the only way to do it, don’t hesitate to dig out your fishnets and corsets, as rounding off the line-up is the ultimate cult classic – The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
