I’ve been a huge fan of New Amsterdam, the hospital drama that’s tremendously different from your everyday medical stories, and so I’m delighted to share the news that new episodes launch on Amazon Prime from 15th May.
If you haven’t managed to watch it yet, and you’re on the lookout for something that’s both heartfelt and funny with a whole twist of truth, then New Amsterdam is definitely your bag. It’s got those edges of the classic ER (character wise) but also a bit of Sorkin-like The Newsroom but, of course, it’s also full of its own narrative beauty and sadness.
