If you’ve got kids then no doubt the words ‘back to school’ are ever closer (& welcomed?) in the mind, but before we get there, it’s a great time to gather all Harry Potter and LEGO fans to celebrate because, first up, on 1st September it’s time to go Back to Hogwarts!
To rejoice in the awesomeness, we’re taking closer look at the hugely impressive LEGO Wizarding World range that features scenes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. But that’s not all because whilst we’re heading Back to Hogwarts, there’s nothing quite like getting into the true spirit, so what’s more synonymous than the journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry itself and the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Express set!
This absolute beauty features the infamous train from King’s Cross Station, a railway bridge with a clock and steps leading to Platform 9¾, a moving brick wall entrance, an awesome ‘Wanted’ poster and Daily Prophet newspapers, plus the train with carriage, complete with 4 seats and removable side panel and roof. You can also order sweets from the Trolley Witch – as you do – or even cause some chaos and fly the Dementor into the action.
This great LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Express set also includes 5 minifigures – Look at iiiit! You can purchase this work of genius right here!
This range of sets also include the first challenge of the Triwizard Tournament (Click here for more), with a brick-built Hungarian Horntail dragon guarding a golden egg. LEGO minifigures in the set include Triwizard Tournament competitors Fleur Delacour, Viktor Krum and Cedric Diggory. Ceeedriccc!
I personally think the LEGO Knight Bus (Order now) is just an iconic as anything in Harry Potter, have you seen it at the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio tour (Fact: It’s super cool), and so the purple triple-decker bus, zooming around London can offer up hours of fun. The 3-level LEGO bus features an opening hinged side panel and a removable roof to maximise play potential. Features include the cheeky Shrunken Head and Harry’s chest, containing his wand – the set includes 3 LEGO Minifigures and measures over 16cm in height.
We even built it recently, take a look:
You want more? How about LEGO Beauxbatons’ Carriage: Arrival at Hogwarts (Buy it here), where young witches and wizards can relive the thrilling scene as the magnificent flying carriage makes its hair-raising journey to Hogwarts. LEGO minifigures include the Triwizard champion – Fleur Delacour, her sister Gabrielle, the formidable headmistress Madame Maxime, and Hagrid. Ah, Hagrid, what a legend.
