Now here’s a fun concept, that feels inspired by the likes of Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman, but in the mainstream! Coming to Netflix on 18 October, Living With Yourself stars Paul Rudd, Aisling Bea and… Paul Rudd!
Do not adjust your minds, you’re here for the fun stuff. Described as an ‘inventive existential comedy that asks: do we really want to be better?‘ Meet Miles (Rudd), a man struggling with every aspect of his life, undergoing a seemingly unique spa treatment that promises to make him a better person, he finds he’s been replaced by a new and improved version of himself.
Yes, this is happy-go-lucky Rudd taking on the not-so-jolly Rudd and, even better, Living with Yourself also stars the bloody excellent Aisling Bea, plus Desmin Borges, Karen Pittman and Zoe Chao. This eight-episode series was created/written by Timothy Greenberg and is directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.
