Let’s all look forward to some true escapism and start with this compelling new 8-part series, Defending Jacob, coming to Apple TV+ from 24 April and starring Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery, Jaeden Martell, Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel, Sakina Jaffrey and J.K. Simmons!

Directed by Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game, Headhunters), this new trailer really sets the tone for the series, and keeps those forthcoming secrets smartly under-wraps, which is enough to intrigue me for sure. Promised to be a ‘gripping, character-driven drama’, they’ll start with 3 episodes and then you’ll get a new every Friday ’til 29 May, just like the old days!

Based on William Landay’s novel of the same name, Defending Jacob unfolds around a shocking crime that rocks a small Massachusetts town.
