Now I’m not sure if it’s 2020, or just the sheer silliness of what you’re about to receive, but I kinda want to dive head-first into Monster Hunter because it’s pure escapism. From Sony Pictures UK, and with more than an essence of Pacific Rim, Monster Hunter leads with the premise that “behind our world, there is another… where powerful monsters rule their domain with deadly ferocity!”

How do our heroes get involved with such craziness? Well, after an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to the new world, of course, and the monsters are immune to human firepower….

Written and Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, and also starring mysterious Hunter (played by Tony Jaa), this even has Ron Perlman as well, which just seems right doesn’t it? Watch now:
