Special Edition 4K UHD being released for the 35th Anniversary of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth

“Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child you have stolen, for my will is as strong as yours and my kingdom as great. You have no power over me!”

If you’re a kid of a certain era, or even one who’s passed on the Labyrinth love to anyone, you’ll know what a remarkably unique and special film it is! Jim Henson’s visionary escapism is already celebrating its 35th anniversary and coming to a rather splendid Limited edition collectible set presented as a 28-page Digibook—featuring rare artwork, photography and early script pages, all from deep within the Henson Archives—styled to resemble Sarah’s book of The Labyrinth from the film!

This 4K Ultra HD release is enticing us in on 6 September courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, exclusively via Zavvi.

Starring ‘how is she and Paul Rudd still the same age’ Jennifer Connelly, as well as the legendary and sadly late David Bowie, plus dozens of creatures from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop,  Labyrinth follows 16-year-old Sarah (Connelly) as she is given 13 hours to solve a dangerous and wonderful labyrinth and rescue her baby brother when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King, played by Bowie.
