Adam McKay, director of the likes of The Big Short, Vice and Anchorman, has pulled together for one of the most astonishing cast lists in a long, long time and it’s a film that looks – welcomingly – completely off its head as well!
Don’t Look Up stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Rob Morgan, Tyler Perry, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), Himesh Patel, Melanie Lynskey, Michael Chiklis and Tomer Sisley!
It’s got a very indie vibe to it in the story as well, which definitely makes it intriguing, where DiCaprio and Lawrence play two low-level astronomers, who must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet earth! But the problem? No one really seems to care…

Why don’t they do this as a straight movie? We’ve had all kinds of interpretations of this them and they’ve either been unscientific junk, or jokes.
