While the initial teaser for Chris Miller and Phil Lord‘s The Afterparty (our Series Review is here!) didn’t give away too much beyond the comedy element, this first full trailer does look entertaining, as we see a bit more of the different styles per episode, for the new murder mystery series coming to Apple TV+ early in 2022.

Over 8-episodes, we’ll explore each character’s account of the fateful evening in question, all through the lens of popular film genres and unique visuals to match the storyteller’s perspective. Hmm!

Debuting on 28th January 2022, The Afterparty stars Tiffany Haddish (who was first-class in Here Today), plus Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Jamie Demetriou and Dave Franco. Created and directed by Miller, this is also a murder mystery within a high school reunion, so there’s plenty of fun to be had, check out the trailer:
