Tarantino’s Jackie Brown returning to cinemas for the 25th Anniversary, and Pam Grier joining for the UK Q and A Events

In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, Park Circus have announced that it’s set to re-release Quentin Tarantino’s iconic film Jackie Brown starring Pam Grier – back in UK wide cinemas from 16th September!

200+ cinemas across the UK & Ireland plus select international territories, including Vue, Odeon, Picturehouse and BFI Southbank, will screen the classic 1997 film. It will coincide with a major new retrospective ‘Pam Grier: Foxy, Fierce and Fearless’, running at BFI Southbank from 1 September – 4 October, programmed by film scholar Mia Mask.

Pam Grier is set to visit the UK at the time of the re-release in September and will be involved in Q&A events 10-11 September at BFI Southbank (London), Ritzy Picturehouse (Brixton, London) and MAC Birmingham – with all of these sites also screening Jackie Brown.

Jackie Brown, a flight attendant, is arrested for smuggling money for her arms dealer boss, Ordell Robbie. The agent Ray Nicolette, and Mark Dargus, want her help to bring down Robbie in Tarantino’s JACKIE BROWN, in 199. Facing jail time for her silence or death for her cooperation, Brown decides instead to double-cross both parties and make off with the smuggled money. Meanwhile, she enlists the help of bondsman Max Cherry (Robert Forster), a man who loves her.
