It’s a huge cast for Damien Chazelle‘s next outing, which takes us into the world of 1920s Los Angeles with Babylon, a new epic written and directed by the Oscar-winning director.
An original tale (hoorah!), Babylon is led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart. We’re told it’s a tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, not like now then, which traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.
I use ‘early’ in a filmic, non-ironic sense. But, that being that, it still could be a lot of fun and with a co-starring cast that includes P.J. Byrne, Lukas Haas, Olivia Hamilton, Tobey Maguire, Max Minghella, Rory Scovel, Katherine Waterston, Flea, Jeff Garlin, Eric Roberts, Ethan Suplee, Samara Weaving, and Olivia Wilde, I’ll be looking out for it – despite my sarcasm, seriously, it sounds intriguing!
We’ve got a few shots, and there’s a load more right here for your delectation – and also the trailer – scroll down!

Looks good and thank you for those high quality images. Original story is a nice change of pace for the world of cinema.

Definitely, as long as the ‘big’ stars are involved, we should keep getting reasonably original work!
