I mean, this is out of the blue but I think I kind of like it? The trailer is very focused on the ‘from the writers of A Quiet Place‘ somewhat which, despite the creature fights, might suggest there’s a lot more low key overall but they’re pushing it to the mass market because it’s an action-survival-thriller with Adam Driver taking on a different type of role than usual. And so now… I’m speculating beyond rationality. He can do it though. The boy got talent!

After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (Driver) quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth…65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.
