Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the Radio Silence team, said they’d be upping the ante for their next Scream venture, after the excellent fifth [homage and slight reboot] Scream last year and this trailer for Scream VI? WOAH IS THE ANSWER.
Based on those iconic characters created by Kevin Williamson, and written like the last outing by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, Scream VI is notching up the fear factor and taking us to the city that never sleeps, as Ghostface stalks New York but – very particularly – the fresh batch we recently met, plus the ace return of Hayden Panettiere‘s Kirby Reed from Scream 4, it’s gonna be a scream, baby!

This time around, and with Woodsboro being the last place you want to be, the four survivors leave the small town behind and start a fresh chapter… but, of course, Ghostface has other plans for them. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy Meeks-Martin”), Mason Gooding (“Chad Meeks-Martin”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”), Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”) and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving!
