Well, this looks like pure gold, and I’m definitely in, plus a truly excellent cast! BEEF is described as an edgy, smart, revenge fable, from Lee Sung Jin (Dave, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and A24, with Steven Yeun starring alongside the excellent Ali Wong, which comes to Netflix from 6th April!
The 10-episode series follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho (Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, who goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series… there’s a little look below over what to expect stylistically, and hot off the press, here’s your trailer:
“Revenge is best served raw…”
