In terms of coming to the small screen, Batman: Knightfall has been a long-time coming. Originally published across 1993-94, this is absolute classic Batman, a saga split into Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd – and now it’s been confirmed that it’ll hit streaming and Home Entertainment, as an animated event, for the very first time!

DC, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have announced that Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, based on characters from DC and the DC Comic Book Event, will be available digitally beginning August 25

This will be a three-part movie event bringing to life one of the most iconic stories in the rich history of Batman comics and, on August 25, Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall will be available on participating digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, and more.

On September 7, Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall will be available to own on 4K UHD and Blu-ray from online and physical retailers, and it’ll also continue to be available in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.

Part 2 will be available later in 2026 and Part 3 will be available in early 2027, and the special features on the Blu-ray/4K UHD will include:
