In terms of grandeur and scale of storytelling, The Yellow Tie absolutely goes all out – it encounters time itself and that of a master, sharing the story of real-life Romanian conductor Sergiu Celibidache through his life.

Directed by his son, Serge Ioan Celebidachi, no less, the film features huge set pieces and fully immerses in its classical music heritage, with pieces performed by orchestras which include Anton Bruckner, Hector Berlioz and Johannes Brahms – and whatever your tastes, you’ll feel the emotion this collaborative team have created.
