Oh, I like the weird vibe of this one!

Written and Directed by Neil Maskell, and produced by Stephanie Aspin and Helen Simmons, Klokkenluider is the directorial debut of Maskell and looks gloriously intriguing and very dark, in that classic kind of Ben Wheatley way, which is good because he also an exec producer!

Starring Amit ShahSura DohnkeTom BurkeRoger Evans and Jenna Coleman, the story centres around Shah’s government whistleblower and his wife (Dohnke) who flee to a remote country house in Belgium, for their own safety. Joined by two close protection officers, they await the arrival of a British journalist….

If you like your films with an unexpectedly dark, yet amusing, edge… this is the one my friends:

Klokkenluider comes to UK cinemas from 1 September
