There are obviously such a plethora of TV shows these days that it’s sometimes difficult to know what to watch next but Homecoming is one we’re reasonably confident you want on that list. Starring the one and only Julia Roberts, it’s directed by Mr Robot creator Sam Esmail, this new series is based on the popular podcast of the same name and comes to Amazon Prime from 2nd November and just released is this haunting new teaser, soundtracked by Radiohead:

Created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg, Homecoming is described as a ‘mind-bending psychological thriller’ that stars Roberts as Heidi Bergman, a caseworker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Centre, a Geist Group facility helping soldiers transition back to civilian life.

Walter Cruz (Stephan James) is one of these soldiers, eager to begin the next phase of his life. Overseeing Heidi and the facility is Colin Belfast (Bobby Cannavale), an ambitious company man whose manic demands point to questionable motives. Then… Four years later, Heidi has started a new life, living with her mother (Sissy Spacek) and working as a small-town waitress, when a Department of Defence auditor (Shea Whigham) comes to her with questions about why she left the Homecoming facility…

Homecoming will debut exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from Friday 2nd November 2018
