Christopher Nolan’s Tenet – Get all the UK Blu-ray, 4K UHD, DVD, Steelbook and Special Edition details here!

In what seems like a long-time coming, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet has finally confirmed the Home Entertainment release, and it’s just in time for Christmas! Coming to Amazon as an exclusive Steelbook in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital, and a special ‘First Edition’ 4K UHD/Blu-ray from HMV (link below), they’re released on 14th December and, yes, I’ve pre-ordered.

Like many, my first viewing of Tenet was exciting but also full of questions and ponderings. There’s such a mountain of information coming your way, Nolan has not stepped back and is putting full trust in his audiences to understand the processes. While that first view was occasionally overwhelming, I can confirm that a second viewing at the cinema (I managed to just get in again before ‘now’), really opens up the film as a more exciting, intriguing package, especially as you start seeing things that obviously made no sense initially.

Interestingly, there’s one thing I do believe about film reviewing, especially the complicated ones, I think you’re allowed to think it over and that repeat viewings should enable a more explorative, insightful write-up (Although Pete did love it in IMAX!). You don’t listen to an album and decide immediately whether you love or hate it, creativity needs time and a second viewing made me appreciate it a lot, lot more. Starring the excellent John David Washington, plus Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh, Clemence Poesy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Caine, Denzil Smith, Himesh Patel, and Dimple Kapadia, Tenet goes like this:

Fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.

Now, what are we getting this Warner Bros Home Entertainment release of Tenet? Well, like the US release, it does have the extra ‘Looking at the World in a New Way: The Making of Tenet – An hour-long exploration of the development and production of the film as told by the cast and crew‘ and while I hoping for some kind of crazy Special Edition with a mask (like we need more…), I have got a further breakdown of the extras, which include:
