The team at Lightbulb Film Distribution are excited to announce that the multi award-winning and critically acclaimed music biopic Schemers will be hitting DVD and digital download on Burns Night, 25th January 2021, and you can see our very own 4-stars on the front cover!

Shot in and around Dundee, Schemers features Conor Berry‘s award winning on-screen debut as well as Tara Lee, Sean Connor and Grant R. Keelan. Directed by Dave Mclean, Schemers smashed expectations earlier this year and scored the highest new box office entry during its opening weekend in September, following its wins at the Edinburgh Film Festival and New York Winter Film Awards. 

The film is based on the true story surrounding music promoter David McLean‘s stream of ambitious gigs in 1980’s, which included Simple Minds, XTC, Ultravox, The Skids and Iron Maiden!
