And the big Doctor Who news just keeps on coming! It’s just been confirmed that award winning star of stage and screen, Jonathan Groff, is set to appear in the new series of Doctor Who in a key role.
Groff shot to fame when he landed the role of Jessie in musical comedy drama Glee. Since then, he’s been starring as Eric in the box office hit Knock at the Cabin (reviewed here), to playing Holden Ford in the critically acclaimed series Mindhunter, plus took a leading role as the new Agent Smith in The Matrix Resurrections, and you might even know his voice from the Frozen films!
Jonathan has also made his mark on Broadway, dazzling audiences with his famous performance as King George III in Hamilton, where he was nominated for not only a Tony Award, but also a Primetime Emmy Award for the live stage recording…. and now he’s on his way to jump aboard the TARDIS in a mysterious and exciting guest role.
On joining Doctor Who, Groff said:
