The story of a family and a family business.
I know, you’ve been here before but Wes Anderson does always find a way to get into my psyche, and while I know zany, peculiar, weird, eccentric and the rest are often used for his work, there’s no denying that I love all those elements in one mad-capped box of frogs, and here we are again with the (not) unusually unhinged The Phoenician Scheme!

Whilst some may argue that he leans towards self-parody these days, I think that’s a disservice to the setups, and especially the huge amount of smaller details that go into every film. And this upcoming espionage black comedy film, co-written with Roman Coppola, it stars Benicio del Toro as Zsa-zsa Korda, one of the richest men in Europe; Mia Threapleton as Liesl, his daughter/a nun; Michael Cera as Bjorn, their tutor!
Plus Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, Hope Davis – watch now:
